WINTER STORM PARKING BAN
CITY-WIDE BAN
A City-wide winter storm parking ban is in effect for Somersworth. No on-street parking will be allowed beginning on Wednesday, April 3, at 9:00 pm and concluding at 7:00 am Friday, April 5.
All vehicles parked on City Streets will be ticketed and towed while the ban is in effect.
Downtown – Business District Temporary Parking Exception
Ban will be lifted on Thursday, April 4 at 7:00 am until 10:00 pm.
While in effect, parking will be allowed on the following business district streets in the downtown area ONLY.
· High Street (Constitutional Way to Market St. to the Bridge)
· Main Street (Washington St. to Market St. to the Bridge)
· Market Street
· Washington Street
· Constitutional Way
· Government Way
· Station Street
· John Parsons Drive
Downtown – Business District Parking Exception Ending
The City-wide parking ban will be back in effect starting at 10:00 pm Thursday and concluding at
7:00 am on Friday, April 5 for the Business District.
All vehicles parked on any City Streets including the Downtown District will be ticketed and towed while the ban is in effect.
A winter weather warning is in effect for Somersworth for Wednesday evening.
