Seed Saving Program

Learn the basics about seed saving. Attendees will learn why saving seeds is important, what kinds of seeds to save and when to harvest them, the different methods for processing seeds and preparing them for storage, and several tips and tricks ensure successful germination. Brought to you by Master Gardener Donna Lussier. 

This also marks the grand opening of the Somersworth Public Library Seed Sharing Initiative. Patrons will be able to check out seed packets to take home and use in their gardens. At the end of the growing season, save some seeds to return to our Seed Library for the next growing season.
