Library Cards
Learn more about getting and renewing your library card at our Library Cards page.
Lost your library item? No problem! You can use your photo ID in place of your library card. If you'd prefer to have a new library card, the replacement cost is $5.
Hoopla & OverDrive
Your library card gives you access to two different streaming/download services - Hoopla and OverDrive. These services allow you to borrow digital audiobooks, e-books, magazines, comics, music, movies, and TV shows with your library card.
Learn more about these services at our Hoopla & OverDrive page.
Borrowing Library Materials
The library offers a variety of materials to borrow, including books, magazines, audiobooks and movies. Items may be borrowed for a period of 3 weeks, with an option to renew the materials for an additional 3 weeks, as long as another patron does not have the item(s) on hold. The only exception is our new DVDs, which have a 1-week lending period. Renewals may be done in the library, over the phone, via email, or by logging into your online library account.
Interlibrary loan items can only be renewed with permission from the lending library. To renew an Interlibrary loan Item, please call, email, or come into the library a few days before the item is due, so we have time to contact the lending library.
Regarding overdue items: We are a fine-free library, so you will not owe any late fees. A 3-day grace period also occurs before your account becomes restricted for any further borrowing. After the grace period, you will not be able to borrow physical or digital materials. Once you return all your library materials, your account will be active for physical and digital borrowing again.
