Solid Waste Program Update

New pricing for City trash bags and bulky waste stickers takes effect as of July 1st.  Please see below.

 The adjustment in the bulky waste sticker price is the first price alteration since 2004 (22 years). This adjustment, made during the budget process, more closely aligns with the actual cost for collection and disposal of these items, which after the fee adjustment is still subsidized substantially. We appreciate the public’s patience as we work to align these fees with increased costs of providing the services.

City Solid Waste Trash Bags:

30-gallon trash bags:  From $2.65 to $2.70 each or $27.00 for a roll of 10 bags

15-gallon trash bags:  From $2.10 to $2.15 each or $21.50 for a roll of 10 bags.

Bulky Waste Stickers:

Bulky waste stickers will increase from $4.00 to $10.00 per sticker. Bulky waste stickers may be purchased at the Public Works Office during regular business hours (check payments only), at the Public Library (cash or check), or at the City Clerk’s Office (cash, check, or card).
